Rose Lemonade
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups (472mL) lemon juice
- 1 ½ cup (300g) sugar
- ½ cup (15g) dried edible roses or rose petals
- Rose water (optional, for more rose flavor)
STEPS:
1. Mix ingredients together in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for five minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature - this will take about an hour. Strain out roses and put syrup in a container, then refrigerate for future use.
3. To serve the lemonade, mix 3-5 tablespoons (45-75mL) of syrup with eight ounces (236mL) of water, pour over ice, and enjoy!
