Brown Sugar Bacon
- ½ cup (100g) packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp (5g) cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp (5g) red pepper flakes
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
1. Preheat the oven to 400F (205C).
2. Stir together the brown sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
3. Spread the mixture on the bacon slices evenly.
4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes; the bacon is done when it’s crispy and glazed.
5. Remove baking sheet from oven and cool bacon for 5 minutes; serve warm.
