Apple Crisp
SERVES: 6
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 cups (720g) apples, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp (5g) cinnamon
- 2 tbsp (30g) butter, melted
- ½ cup (60g) flour
- 1 cup (200g) sugar
- ½ tsp (2.5g) salt
- ⅓ cup (75g) cold butter, cut in cubes
STEPS:
1. Mix together apples, ⅓ cup (60g) sugar, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter. Place in an 8-inch (20cm) square baking dish and set aside.
2. Combine ⅔ cup (140g) sugar and flour. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
3. Bake at 375F (190C) for about 45 minutes.
