All throughout my life, I've always been a voracious reader, since I the day learned how.

Nowadays, I'm a big fan of the 50 page rule: "Life's too short to read bad books. If you're not feeling the book by page 50, if you're just not into it, don't finish it." I still record my DNFs (did-not-finishes) as part of my yearly reading goals, however I wasn't the best about that in 2018 and 2019. I would remember the general month, but not the actual date. That's why some books, under "date read" will just have a month and the year, whereas the rest will have the exact date. Only a few others will I not have an idea of the general month of when I read them, and these appear at the end of the year.

I don't actually actively write book reviews. I've thought about it, but for now all I do is rate (most) of the books I read (and finish! I don't tend to rate DNFs) on a five-star scale. The few I don't rate (mostly children's books I didn't like) will appear as "NR" (not rated).

Ever since February 2018, I've kept track of what I read in a yearly spreadsheet and on the website Goodreads. Now I've decided to put it here as well!
